2017年9月8日重大消息：现行EB-5成功延期至2017年12月8日。

EB-5延期过程

美国众议院在2017年9月8日, 以 316：90 通过了，9月7日在参议院 80：17 通过的决议, 将包括EB-5区域中心法案在内的美国持续决议案(Continuing Resolution) 延期至2017年12月8日。随后川普总统签字。

EB-5行业团体IIUSA随后也发文确认。

根据该持续决议案的第105节内容——“继续2017年拨款法案的所有授权、要求和限制到第106节中提出的日期（即2017年12月8日）”，可见EB-5区域中心也被纳入其中。此项决议意味着：EB-5区域中心再次搭车成功，按现行政策延期至2017年12月8日。

The EB-5 authorization comes in Section 105:

Continues all authorities, requirements, and limitations from 2017 appropriations Acts through the date in section 106. Allows for valid obligations and expenditures during the period of the Continuing Resolution (CR).

Section 106 verifies the date:

Continues appropriations through December 8, 2017, or the enactment of the pertinent appropriations Act.
