12.26.2016 H1B北京首签，为了2018继续可以下班就跑别的国家浪，也充分利用一下加拿大旅游签证，受西岸小伙伴去温哥华续签启发来加东续。

时间线

11.15.2017 提交DS-160约面签，Ottawa Toronto Montreal Quebec都有坑，挑了个时间合适的

12.12.2017 中午1点面签

随后补个approved时间。

地点：United States Consulate General Montréal, 1155 St Alexander St, Montreal, QC H3B 3Z1

入口在楼正南一个卡罗拉那么长的小门，早就听闻门口不好找在附近提前就开始问了。

面签改时间限制：You have until 08 December, 2017, 07:00 EST to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment from the "Applicant Summary Page".

自取（In-Person Document Collection）800 RENE-LEVESQUE O, MONTREAL, QC, H3B3B0

改取护照时间限制：You only have until 12 December, 2017, 06:00 EST to change the location where your visa documents will be delivered. After the time indicated above, the option to change the courier location will be deactivated from your account and at this point no courier changes will be allowed.

材料：护照，i797A，签证照片，DS-160。没多带也没多要，工作方面可以去隔壁办公室里办。

不要早到，半小时以内才可以进去看DS-160预约时间，蒙特利尔12月还是很冷的。然后安检，也听说手机不能带，看地图差点没走丢了，进门依然要存包，工卡（badge）不让带进去因为是extractable…… 所以还是带手机吧，把自己丢了就坏了。

安检完去地下室坐电梯上19楼，会有一个会龟派气功孙悟空样子红马甲的工作人员查材料，然后去窗口查材料，下一个窗口录指纹，然后像DMV一样坐一排椅子准备面签。

官方要求材料

Types

The following documents are required for all visa types:

• Current Passport valid for travel to the United States. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the period of stay in the United States (unless exempt by country-specific agreements.)
• Passport containing the most recently issued U.S. Visa (if applicable).
• Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160 confirmation page.
• Confirmation and Instructions page printed from this website
• One 5 x 5 cm (or 2" x 2") color photo taken within the last 6 months. Further details regarding Department of State photo guidelines can be found at: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/photos.html.
• Accompanying family members, unless entering the United States for another purpose, should present a marriage certificate (spouse) and/or birth certificate (for unmarried children under 21), as applicable.
• Copy of proof of your legal status in Canada
  

If you are attending an appointment in person, you must bring original documents. If you are eligible to send your documents via courier, please send copies of supporting documents along with your original passport. Many visa types require additional documents. Please see the section below.

(H) TEMPORARY WORKER

• Receipt Number for your approved petition as it appears on your Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker Form I-129 or Notice of Action Form I-797 from USCIS (does not apply to H1B1 visa applicants).
• Job offer from United States employer and a Certified Department of Labor approved application (applies to H1B1 visa applicants only).
