I applied online. I interviewed at MarkLogic (San Carlos, CA) in January 2018.

Interview
The interview consists of 6 rounds. 1 behavioral and 5 technical. Most of the interviewers are friendly and helpful. Most questions are C++ based. But if you only know java it is also OK.

Interview Questions
- Write a read-write lock. Do not use ready library.
What is formal form of database.
Given an integer, swap bits by pairs. (1001 becomes 0110)

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at MarkLogic.

Interview
Applied online, a couple of phone chats, finished the technical questions. Got an offer from Marklogic but they later recinded. Very unprofessional. Stay away from the company.

I applied through other source. The process took a week. I interviewed at MarkLogic in March 2014.

Interview
Received a call for a position I did not apply for. The recruiter asked several questions and emphasized the stock equity and benefits. He did not like my employment history but I countered that my company sells product not consulting time. Recruiter then setup phone interview with hiring manager the following week. The hiring manager commented 'you only designed simple models'. I had to correct him.

- Write down the singleton pattern

mark logic：12月中面， 问了基础知识 国人叔叔 很友好。
1）计算机网络：问我tcp／udp区别 我说不知道 本科学过都忘光了；
2）然后就跳到问database 因为这学期刚上了database所以回答得都很好，具体有问acid transaction second key等；
3） cpp：cpp中怎么manage memory我说的似乎不是他想要的答案，他就问我知不知道smart pointer 我说不知道==然后他就给我介绍了一下；
4）os：什么是virtual memory之类 太久了记不清了； 鏉ユ簮涓
