老板是刚来3年的assistant professor，还没拿到tenure，在CSEE系。人很好，不push。最近准备招人，由于属于交叉学科，所以EE,ME,BME,BIO,CHE背景都欢迎，MS和PHD都欢迎，不出意外应该都会有TW+Stipend(每月$1500左右)，这个秋季或者明年春季都可以。老板的Research Interests包括BioMicroElectroMechanical Systems (BioMEMS) and Microfluidics， Cellular Sensor， Tissue Engineering和Biofuel Cell（生物黑勿喷）。
学校（WVU）一般，或者说很烂，排名160左右，但是在本州绝对NO.1. 地处小农村，生活费用不高，距离最近的大城市匹兹堡约1个半小时车程。

Biomedical Microdevices.

The LDCSEE is looking for students (both in graduate and undergraduate levels) in the
broader area of biomedical engineering related biomedical microdevices. The students
will be involved in projects, where the main goal will be to develop microfluidic devices
(bioreactors, tissue chips and biosensors) to control cell behavior and tissue functions,
understand the impacts of various agents on cells, and provide novel platforms for
toxicology screening and early diagnosis..

Preferred Background
 Microfabrication
 Microfluidics
 Experience with cell culturing will be considered as an advantage

Other Requirements
The student should have enthusiasm towards laboratory research work and hand on
experiments. We seek the students from the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering,
Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely-
related areas. Women students and students from underrepresented groups are
encouraged to apply.
