USC37 这算是拒信把

Thank you for your Fall 2018 application to the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Unfortunately you have not been recommended for admission to the M.S. inCSES program. However, we would like to consider your application for the M.S. inCSES as part of the Pre-Master’s Program at the USC International Academy.

The Pre-Master’s Program is a unique opportunity that combines intensive English training and GRE preparation with conditional admission to select USC MS degree programs.  If admitted, students take 1-2 semesters of Pre-Masters courses designed to prepare their English and academic skills and/or GRE preparation and receive conditional admission to a specific M.S. program at USC with satisfactory progress in the English courses.

Please note that the USC International Academy reserves the right to change the courses you will need to take as requirements of the program based on the results of the placement test that applicants take during orientation upon arrival in the United States.  Additional information on the Pre-Master’s Program at the USC International Academy can be found here:http://international.usc.edu.  

If you are interested in being considered for this program, please reply to this email using the subject line “Pre-Master’s Program” and confirm that you would like to be reviewed.  Once you confirm your interest, we will consider your application as part of the USC International Academy Pre-Master’s program.  Please note that this is not an admission decision for the program. You will be notified separately of the admission decision for the USC Pre-Master’s Program.

因为托福分数不够 就申请的学校比较少 全聚德了 本来还幻想一下USC 还是太年轻了  被申爆了  哎 该静下心来好好规划一下了

但是你看楼主发的学校说明里是说补的课程是语言类而且目的是为了语言提高和GRE提高诶

这个PRE master 是个什么项目呢  今年CS转专业全聚德 要gap 了 难受

pre master就是要读额外的项目预备课程，类似语言预科，耗费一年时间多上几门课程最后考试通过可以录取为正式master

不是语言预科，是项目预科，就是因为你的能力没达到正式录取的要求（如有重要的必修课没有上过，GPA未达标等）所以才需要多读几门课程补充知识或短板

  谢谢大佬解惑 那是所有收到拒信的 都有这个吗？ 感觉一年时间 好亏啊
