想了解一下GIT 对中国phd的录取情况

这个公立学校是否对international phd 的录取存在歧视？

还有一般公立学校是不是都对international phd applicant歧视？

I assume by using GIT you are talking about Gatech.(sorry for using english since this computer don't have Chinese input...)

1. No. They are pretty open to international phd applicants. Gatech's engineering has at least 50% international phd students(data come from gatech's statistics, see http://lite.gatech.edu/, ignore the 2018-2019 data, they are still in the statistic progress). However, some department may not accept international students unless you find an advisor who wants to support your study(which means, they want to make you their RA.)

2. No. Most of the famous public schools have a large number of international students, e.g. UIUC, Purdue, UMN, TAMU etc.
