Fully-funded PhD Positions in Cloud and IoT Computing at University of Georgia

Fully-funded (TA/RA) Ph.D. positions are available in the Cloud and IoT computing group at The University of Georgia. Candidates are expected to start in the Spring or Fall 2019 semesters. The graduate students will conduct exciting and practical research on Cloud, Edge, and IoT. Self-motivated students at B.S. or M.S. level with the background of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and closely related disciplines are encouraged to apply. FYI, the deadline for Spring 2019 admission is Oct. 15th.

Preferred Qualifications:

   B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
   
  Research experience (and strong interest in) with computer and distributed systems, cloud computing, IoT sensors, machine learning (especially deep learning), and computer networking.

   Strong programming skills (C/C++, Python, Java) and embedded system development skills


International students are required to submit a TOEFL score - Internet-based test minimum 80; Speaking>=20, Writing>=20. (University’s requirement)
