Funded Ph.D. position at UIUC

Prof. Jinhui Yan has multiple Ph.D. positions at Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Jinhui Yan’s research group is working on computational fluid dynamics, computational fluid-structure interaction, multi-phase flows, finite element, isogeometric analysis and their applications to renewable energy, additive manufacturing, and other various challenging problems. Applicants should have a solid background in mathematics, mechanics (fluids, solids, and structures), numerical analysis, and programming (Fortran, C, and Python). An earned M.S. degree in mechanical/civil/hydraulic engineering or engineering mechanics is preferred but not required. Applicants send their CV to yjh"at"illinois.edu.
