阿尔伯塔大学土木与环境工程系康仕仲老师计划2019年秋季招收博士生和硕士生。康老师2005年毕业于斯坦福大学，2006年到2018年八月在国立台湾大学任教,于2018年九月加入阿尔伯塔大学Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering. 康老师的研究方向包括:

• BIM-enabled design for robotics in construction
• Artificial Intelligence for robot controls in the building industry
• Simulation methods for the assembly line for modular home and modular constructions
• Reasoning vision information to identify construction problem proactively.

关于康老师：
Dr. Shih-Chung (Jessy) Kang recently joined the Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering at University of Alberta. He is leading a research team to develop robotics solutions for the building industry. He is designing a new robot lab (R-Lab) to support the interdisciplinary research to introduce robotics to construction sites. Equipped with multiple robots, sensor networks, virtual reality devices and computation units, the lab allows to simulate a variety of construction scenarios and develop the innovative construction methods by integrating the sensors, artificial intelligence, and automatic machine.

Dr. Kang obtained his Ph.D. in Stanford in 2005 and worked in National Taiwan University (NTU) from 2006 to 2018. He published five textbooks, 100+ papers and eight patents on construction technologies. He led research projects to develop a smart robo-crane, pavement inspection robots and autonomous erection system. He is co-editor-in-chief of a Springer Journal, Visualization in Engineering. Dr. Kang obtained excellent teaching award in NTU. His courses in Coursera, an online learning platform, attract more than 30,000 online learners. Dr. Kang is also an entrepreneur, co-founding Smart-Aging Tech, a company offering the data services for health cares.
