PhD position in Computer Vision at RIT Imaging Science Center

The Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) has 1-2 PhD position available starting from 2019 Fall. The PhD position is mainly on computer vision. Students with background in one or more areas around computer vision/robotics/autonomous driving/deep learning/image processing and strong programming skills are welcome to apply.
RIT is located in Rochester of New York State. It is one of the oldest technology universities in USA. Based on US News, RIT is ranked 97th among all the US national universities, 61st in best engineering programs and 41st in best value schools. The center of imaging science at RIT established the first PhD program in imaging science in USA and is still one of the few imaging science departments worldwide. Students in the center will receive training from all areas related to images (remote sensing, computer vision, optics, image processing, machine learning, human vision, etc).
