求意见，该如何回复

今天给一个大学教授发了个邮件，是看了一下他的文章，然后想跟他探讨一些问题，提了点问题，然后又介绍了一下自己，比较幸运的是，他几分钟之后就回复了，他回复如下，：
Dear ***.... thanks for your note. We have not made any decisions regarding MS admissions yet but you should know in a few weeks.

As for weather insurance, there probably is a need for the reinsurer, or if not a reinsurer some form of government backing. The problem is dealing with covariate risks; that is weather risks are common to all farmers in a given region so a drought for example as happened in NE China two years ago required liabilities for insurance companies that were too large to maintain with their own capital.  Government reinsurance is probably a good option for the time being. Government reinsurance is required in both the USA and Canada for crop insurance.

我觉得这是正常学术回，并且教授应该是告诉你他对master入学没有决定权，估计是committee吧
