FB 店面面经

刚才发了一个面经位置不对。。。重新发昨天下午电话面试 fb ds analytics 今天hr 通知过了。 楼主第一部分sql 题头天写了原题，结果写时手抖的一逼，然后第二问一开始写错了。。。。 然后自己直接面试着就笑起来，笑自己蠢。不过最后面试官没挂我，因为一直保持和他沟通，think aloud,他一给hint马上反应过来，然后讨论式进行。 想说一句就是，虽然楼主使用sql 也快三年了，然后题也好好刷，但是真的居然会紧张。。。会紧张。。。而且很多时候，真写时很多细节要考虑要和面试官沟通。。。昨晚楼主很捶胸顿足，回想了一下，觉得自己属于考g/t 越背鸡精考越差，高考如果考原题不会上线的人类，这回如果挂了，也合理。好了废话说完开始上面经。 面试官是marketplace的，上来问我用过没，然后我确实用过，然后给他商业吹了一下，当然没什么用。题目围绕的就是marketplace 展开。

1. 有两张表来记录用户在浏览网页时的session info。
对于A表：每一次用户进入页面分派一个 unique session id，用户离开则这一个session结束，期间用户的每一个行为都会生成一条记录；
对于表B：记录一条session存在的时间。
Table A: date, session_id, user_id, act('enter', 'exit', 'post')
Table B: date, session_id, time_spent -- (here date + session_id is primary key)
Q1：generate average number of sessions per user per day.
比如： Date | average_number_session_per_user
         01-01 10
         01-02 20
Q2: Generate number of users per time interval in order to measure how many user is spending certain amount of time.
比如： Time_spent | num_of_users
             0                   1
             2                 10

. 1point3acres product 部分，今早应朋友要求，好好写了，也用于自己反思整理。 楼主昨天边说边写，所以基本是整理自己稿纸的内容，比较啰嗦，还加了一些反思， 大家就随意看看就可以了。 请忽略语法问题，中英文混杂。

different cohorts. Let’s say breakdown them into three groups < 30 days, because 30-day is a key time to retain users (参考vp of growth fb 的一个讲座)； 31-day to 1 year, quite new but not too new; >1 year, loyal users.
Step2: Draw the histogram by different groups across time;
Explain 3 scenarios:
1. If we see trends among three groups are same, we are good here, which means we can exclude this possibility;
2. If we see the >1-year group is declining, it's about the retention, it means we might have to think about the improvement and change, like adding some new features. For example adding transaction part, like WeChat, people can finish transactions there.
3. If it happens in the <30-day group, we have to think about how to get new users engaged more, like sending the notifications.

然后结束，我俩闲扯两句，因为都有SAS 的经验，所以吐槽了一把SAS. 说SAS 咋又要钱，还搞一堆证让大家花钱去考。。。 祝大家顺利，sql 如果表现不好，不要慌，千万别慌。
