问了 Rushmeier， 回复是可以延期但如果实习要用opt:

Students on visa must take 4 courses per term that count toward the MS degree. One of the total of 8 courses (2 terms x 4 courses) can be a research project. If you complete the 8 courses you can apply to stay on for a third term as a student. If you work during the summer between the second and third terms you need to use some of your OPT time (unless you find a job at the university).

Only students who do not need a visa can take fewer than 4 courses per term for all of the terms and spread their program out.

另外请问 UCLA 的课程质量是不是真的不太行，这两天看到了很多吐槽，求比较 UT Austin
