收到学院offer被研究生院拒

我申请的utah的mscs，3月5号收到school of computing 的offer，后来邮件回复接offer之后据说要等研究生院的final review

刚刚收到Applyyourself的update，居然被拒了，看来这种事情真的会发生。之前在地里和国外的论坛看到过类似的讨论，但是最终的结果似乎都是顺利的，我不知道是不是这个论坛里第一个报出这种情况的。

下面分别挂一下学院的offer和研究生院的rej (等级低没法贴图)，很讽刺，拒信说的不是final review被拒，而是被department拒，然鹅之前收到一个一本正经的pdf文件说学院打算录我了，666的操作

我现在倒并没有太难过，只是觉得滑稽。主要之前一直纠结是去vanderbilt还是utah，这下反而不用纠结了，可能真是跟vandy有缘吧哈哈
总之作为一个比较罕见的案例，我觉得应该让大家看到，不然绝大多数人都不知道这种情况是是有可能发生的。之前貌似看到过一个utah发了一个PHD offer又发错的帖子，这学校很迷啊。

ps. 希望这个帖子能加上一个utah 或者 university of utah的标签，这样之后申请这个学校的人容易搜到

哈哈，我当初申Utah，教授都说欢迎加入team，还跟录取委员会argue，最后还是拒我了。

不知道他们内部是什么情况，你那只是教授的口头答应吧，我这个两边都是有签名的。。

看楼主意思楼主也不想去的，毕竟范德彪大学明显比犹他大学好一个档次
