OPT工作期间可以念Online Master吗

下面是两边学校的回复：

Sponsor 我OPT的学校：This is a gray area but given that the classes will ultimately lead to a degree and would take place during your OPT time while you are maintaining an F1 status in the United States, we do not advise that you do this. It doesn’t matter if the degree comes after your OPT period. Furthermore, it could be investigated if you do want to apply for the H1-B in the future so you want to minimize any risks associated with any future immigration applications. We highly recommend that you do not take these courses.

Gatech： You would need to speak with your OPT sponsor about this, but my understanding is that you are not allowed to study while on OPT.  I believe you were advised correctly.  

两边都不支持念这个。但是身边有几个人在实践，8月底正式开学，我就再考虑一下。。。

我觉得最担心的也是上面提到的h1b，如果opt期间拿到学位，用这个学位来申请h1b，这样似乎就暴露了opt期间读书的事情，

跟楼主差不多一样的疑虑，也是准备opt这样操作，也看到地里很多人这样操作的。
等待更新。。

我估计念完2-3年 就应该opt结束了😂 但是我是担心opt extension不行

可以啊，紫薯紫薯。

现在开online master的学校越来越多了，这个“grey Area”搞不好过两年也会被政策堵上，干啥都要越早越好
