H1b 还在处理，stem opt已到期，9月30号之后还能继续呆在这边或者工作吗？

请问各位，H1b 还是case was received 处理中，stem opt 已经到期了，现在都是gap，那么9月30号之后是不是不能工作也不能呆在这边了？

我也是9.30 opt到期但是h1b还是case received...之后肯定是不能工作了 但是应该还有60天的grace period可以待在这边 然而坑爹的是我在的州驾照和opt一起过期。。。。无解

同问，完全一样的情况。我的opt 9月底到期，h1b还在处理

From my school OIS:

If you anticipate your H1B petition will be pending past October 1, you may transfer your SEVIS record to another institution to maintain your F-1 status before September 30 has been reached. If you decide not to transfer and remain in F-1 status, you would need to refer to your immigration attorney regarding your status in the U.S.

If you transfer your SEVIS record before 9/30, the program for the new institution must begin within 5 months from that date. Then,  you would be able to stay in the U.S. until your new program starts but you would not be eligible to work.
