大家看我是不是把教授惹毛了

我申的是一所加拿大的学校ECE，master by research，但是导师刚开始不给RA，要学生先全力完成基本课程的学习，我就跟导师各种哭穷，然后导师就回了这么一封。。。。。
Well, as a general comment, I wish to say that good students do not have to worry about financing their studies.
I, as your supervisor,  will make any efforts to help, taking into account that the objectives are for you to finish
your Master studies successfully. Involving you too soon in industry sponsored research (as a research assistant) will
put additional stress on you, depending on your abilities to do research. During my first years here, I did this
mistake, and the results was that some Master students, while working as Research Assistants from day one,
they did not have enough time to dedicate to courses resulting in failure. Now I have more experience and try
not to repeat this mistake,

In September 2012, 4 new Master students joined my group, all with financial assistance to be determined.
They have different backgrounds and hence different capabilities of doing research. Three received entrance
Scholarships in November 2012, and the fourth one received another type of scholarship in March 2013.
In addition one was appointed as  Research Assistant starting February 2013, a second one starting  March 2013,
and the other two will be appointed as Research assistants when they will be ready (most probably after this term ends, in April/May 2013).

. So, your family will have to help you initially, but if you are a good student, you will get financial assistance in some form, and this will help
to finance your studies.

Teaching Assistants are appointed by a separate system that I do not have any control on. Surely you can
apply after you confirm that you are ready to start your studies in our department. You may want to check
with the one that sent you the offer letter, on how to apply.

他是说一开始不能给你钱。但是说去年录了四个master后来都给钱了，在告诉你来之后再给钱的几率很大。

个人认为有一定风险，毕竟老师说的是去年的情况，不是你的情况。但是因为是master，不给钱也说得过去。
看起来老师回了这么多，应该是没有生气。还会录你的应该。

其实这个老师说的很有道理。而且看不如任何被惹毛的迹象。

教授没有被惹毛，你完全不用担心。可以看出教授人不错。教授的意思其实是‘LZ你要自己努力，相信自己，证明自己。’

我觉得不是惹毛了，而是在心平气和的和你讲道理，但是risk是肯定有的，他也提前告知你了

要是表现不好，恐怕连干活的机会都没得了
