嗯，学费是一方面，qual也不得不考虑考虑

From my knowledge, it is hard to survive in Stanford MS->Ph.D. There are about 50 MS but only 18 Ph.D can be admitted. And we don't consider other MS competitors from MIT or Umich, UIUC, etc.

One more thing, the rank of school is not important as you think. The advisor is the most important thing. But you can try this time.
