140 timeline

- Case initialized on Sep 17, 2019, following the approval of PERM timeline in this link (https://www.1point3acres.com/bbs/thread-548599-1-1.html) with all my information submitted already to the law firm.
- Received a page in 9089 to be signed on Sep 19, 2019. Signed and sent out to law firm the same day.
- Signed 9089 page received by law firm on Sep 24, 2019.
- Law firm sent the I-140 to employer for signature on Sep 27, 2019.
- Signed I-140 returned to law firm and submitted to USCIS on Sep 30, 2019 with premium processing (this is called PP?).
- I-140 receipt notice from USCIS received (email) on Oct 4, 2019.
- I-140 shows approved online and law firm received electronic approval notice on Oct 7, 2019, awaiting I-797 physical approval notice from USCIS (probably will take 2-3 weeks to arrive).

So Sep 17 to Oct 7, about 20 days for 140 and here the long waiting starts...

Law firm received original I-797 approval notice from USCIS on Oct 10, 2019.

其中有一页是USCIS给过来的特别的纸？然后律师说要在上面签字，所以寄给我让我签字了…我也不太懂啊😅

It's not the phd. I think it's because my company has already had some position requirements advertised and tested on the market. The employee can skip this process because of this. I'm not a lawyer, and this is roughly what I got from their explanation.
