Graduate student and postdoc positions are available in the Autonomous Systems Laboratory (ASL) in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering (MABE) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) in the area of control, optimization, and machine learning with emphasis on air, ground, and space vehicles.  The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and committed to getting a Ph.D. degree or continuing as a postdoctoral researcher.  Candidates with experience in optimal control, numerical optimization, and machine learning for UAV or space applications are highly desired.  Selected candidates are expected to start as soon as possible.
