面试过了 排期来了

分享一个eb2面试经历 Santa ana：
Appointment Time: 12:45PM,
Arrival Time: 12:00PM

Fingerprint in front of the window and wait till 12:50 PM, one officer called our name.

Vow then start the Interview:

The officer: "Just let you know that your PD is not current, so I cannot make the final decision here. I need to mail your application back to Texas, you will get final approval once you are current.  I will mail it back tomorrow. " - Surprisedly! in Chineses!! And the whole interview will be in Chinese LOL
Me: "Shocked! You can speak Chinese!!"
The officer: "Yes." and he continued "And I have reviewed your applications, very decent and clear. I don't have much to ask, let's just quickly finish it."
Officer: Your last time enter the US still 2013 and 2014, right?
Us: Yes
Officer: What is your current Visa status?
Us: H1b and H4
Officer: Ok, I will ask the Yes/No question, you guys can answer it together. And I saw you have a Visa Deny? When was that?
Wei: 2001
Officer: ok.
And He randomly picked several questions and he used a red pen checked each question.
Officer: Did anyone help you with the application?
Us: Yes, the attorney. Why?
Officer: I just want to make sure everything here is correct
Me: Oh, one of  my living time is incorrect
Officer: oh, that's no need to correct. I mean all this YES/NO question, like if you have Traffic violation?
Us: What type of traffic violation? Like a parking ticket?
Officer: No, that's not a problem. Things like you have been fingerprinted by policemen or Handcuffs？
US: We have no violation like that.
After that, he asked for our last year's Tax return and Wei's W2 and most recent month's paystub.
Officer: OK. Do you have any questions?
Us: Nothing special, the only thing is when will we be current?
Officer: Well, that's something that I can't tell. We are the field office, the visa bulletin is from the USCIS. But I will mail your application out tomorrow and will update the system today (But we haven't gotten any update online.... )
Then the officer asked our most recent EAD card, the combo card, start typing on his computer and print out 2 "Interview decision notice" with our name and A#, he asked us to verify the information and sign. He said the A# will be your GC #.
We signed and he walked us out, also printed a copy of each letter for us on our way out.

从RD到interview你大概用了多久？

likely the VO worked in China before...so he can speak Chinese.

应该是的，中文说的非常好，听口音有点ABC
