上星期问的小秘，关于decision为什么出的这么慢，回复的全文如下：
I am sorry but you will not be offered admission. An official notice will be emailed to you from the Graduate Division in the next 5-10 business days. The decision is a reflection of the quality of the applicant pool. You are among the strong candidates who were not offered admission, as the number of outstanding applicants is much more than the number of available seats. Over 400 PhD applicants were considered for about 25 available seats.Admission decisions are based on the statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, academic history, research and/or industry experience, and test scores. It is a difficult task shaping a class as well, as we have 8 fields of interest that we attempt to round out each year. Thank you again for your interest in UCLA.
去年（2012 fall）的admits是75个，考虑到gradcafe以及地里面爆出来的信息，我觉得基本上是没啥好等的节奏了......
