How do you receive the audit? by Attorney? Can we check the our PERM case status online by ourself?

I wrote my attorney an email and they said they recently received an audit on my perm. We employees could not check the status of our perm even if we have the ETA number of our perm application. Only designated preparers or your employer can check the status.
