美国特拉华大学CS PhD (Fall 2020 & Spring 2021) Machine Learning/Algorithm

The Computational Data Science Lab directed by Prof. Tong (http://udel.edu/~amotong/) at the University of Delaware is looking for Ph.D. students for 2020 Fall and 2021 Spring.

The University of Delaware is the largest university in Delaware in the midway between Newyork and DC. US is classified as a Doctoral University-Very High Research Activity (R1) by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

Our research focuses on machine learning (structured learning) and algorithm design (approximation optimization) on both the theory fundamentals and applications in various domains such as social media analysis and autonomous driving.

We are looking for self-motivated students with either (a) strong math/stat backgrounds or (b) machine learning/deep learning experience, who has passion for research than obtaining the degree.
