Hi Guys,

I just want to share my experience about my interview at Amazon for a L5 data engineer position since I don't see a lot of similar interview experience for the data engineer role.
I got 2 rounds phone interview and 1 final round virtual onsite.

YOE: 3
Timeline:
2/28 --- first round talking about the position with hiring manager for 2 leading pricinple questions.
3/18 --- second round phone interview talked about sql and 2 leading pricinple questions.
4/9 --- virual ons

e. I think I did well except the 2&5 round. In my current position, I mainly focus on designing ETL pipeline and don't have much experience on performance tuning/data modeling, so those 2 rounds I didn't do well.
I have't heared back from the team and will update if I have any updates.
