Yes, the USCIS announced on August 14th that there will be a second selection for the H-1B lottery this year.  It is not yet known how many additional registrations are being selected in the second drawing.  USCIS is expected to issue an official announcement of second lottery, which could disclose the number of H-1B quota slots that remain available.  Foreign nationals and employers do not need to take any additional action to be included in the 2nd lottery.  If you are selected in the 2nd lottery, our office will receive additional information from the USCIS, which will indicate filing deadline and location.

We will contact you and your manager directly if the USCIS informs us that you were selected in the 2nd lottery.
