A postdoc position is available starting anytime at the CoRIS Institute of Oregon State University. Applicants should hold, or be close to obtain a PhD with a specialization in machine learning, computer vision or robotics. We are most interested in experiences in sequential models, deep reinforcement learning, uncertainty estimation, open-set recognition, point clouds processing, video object segmentation, multi-target tracking, robotic perception and manipulation, but any relevant experience would be valued. A strong research record is required, documented by at least 1 recent publication in the past 4 years at first-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NIPS, ICLR, UAI, RSS, CORL) and journals (IJCV, PAMI, JMLR, IJRR, T-RO, RAS, RAL). We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who enjoys working in a collaborative research environment. There is plenty of opportunities to collaborate with other AI and robotics professors and researchers at OSU. Good communication skills and fluency in English are required. The post-doctoral position is provided for up to 3 years with competitive salary. The starting dates are flexible. There is no fixed deadline, applications will be considered until the position is filled.
