微软将让员工可以有一半的时间在家工作

目前的情况，微软预计远程工作至少要到2021年1月。但微软本周通知员工，即使是在疫情消退安全返回办公室之后，仍然可以实施远程办公，他们在家工作将会变得更灵活。

新的准则，将允许员工最多可有50%的时间选择远程办公。员工也可以请求经理批准全职远程工作，甚至搬到新的地点，但工资会根据地域进行调整。

微软将新政策称为 "混合模式"，而不是像Twitter等其他科技公司实施的全方位、永久性的在家工作政策。它更接近Facebook最近的远程工作政策，允许员工在经理批准的情况下在家工作，并在调整工资的情况下可搬到不同的地点。Facebook首席执行官扎克伯格在5月份预测，未来5到10年内，该公司50%的员工将实现远程工作。

Currently, Microsoft expects to work remotely until at least January 2021. But Microsoft notified employees this week that even after the epidemic subsides and safely returns to the office, they can still implement work remotely, and they will become more flexible working from home.

The new guidelines will allow employees to choose work remotely up to 50% of the time. Employees can also request the manager to approve full-time remote work or even move to a new location, but the salary will be adjusted according to the region.

Microsoft calls the new policy a "hybrid model," rather than a comprehensive and permanent work-from-home policy implemented by other technology companies like Twitter. It is closer to Facebook's recent remote work policy, allowing employees to work from home with the approval of their managers and move to different locations if their wages are adjusted. Facebook CEO Zuckerberg predicted in May that in the next 5 to 10 years, 50% of the company's employees will achieve remote work.  source
