求问套磁信是否还要跟进回复

本人套了一个欧洲教授，回复如下。 意思是如果我能申到钱再联系他还是？礼貌的回复一下感谢教授的时间和介绍？
Dear XXX,

I have no open positions at the moment. The only current option with me is to apply for some grant. This process takes about a year. At the moment I am very busy, but if you find it relevant we could probably discuss it in December or January, depending on how my load will look then.

You can also try to check with my colleague XX XX whether he has any positions or pending applications, where you could be relevant.

I expect that we will have some more theoretical faculty joining us next year, so there may appear some more options toward the summer.

Grant一般都是PI申请的，基本就是经费限制实验室招不了人了。建议楼主可以考虑下教授推荐的同事申请试试。
