2020下半年DC大使馆邮寄更新护照

原护照于2021年3月过期
时间线：
9/27 First email to ask for renewing my passport, stating that my company needs my passport must have at least 6 monthes to expire
9/28 First reply: Asking for basic information and the excuse for renewing my passport
9/28 Second email to provide copy of my driver license, current passport and I797A. I took a screenshot of my company system has a warning sign of my passport
10/8 Second reply: Embassy approved my renewal. They sent me serveral forms to fill out, and asking me to sign in to a appointment system (ppt.mfa.gov.cn) to make an appointment.
10/8 Since the appointment needs a recent photo, I took a photo in Costco. Costco does take Chinese passport photos!
10/9 Made an appointment for mailing revnewal. Prepare the documents during the weekend. Nothing special. Just be careful and double check.
11/18 Received an email saying passport has been made and they will mail it back to me.
11/19 Received the renewal passport along with the old one.

请问护照在线预约系统是怎么看到可以预约的？我也走到这一步了。登录进去没有时间供我选择。

你必须要在大使馆给你发邮件指定的时间窗口内登陆系统预约。
我当时是收到大使馆邮件，要求我次日早上10-11点进去预约。

谢谢。大使馆邮件没告诉我指定时间。只说让我去系统约每天刷一刷。
