Clinical Image Analysis Lab is offering multiple PhD positions in 2021fall. Student will be jointly directed by Dr. Metin Gurcan, fellow of SPIE, and Dr. Khalid Niazi. We are seeking self-motivated PhD students interested in computer vision, medical image analysis and deep learning. The lab focus on developing image analysis systems for computer-assisted analysis and interpretation of medical images to help medical professionals (e.g. pathologists, radiologists). Students will be fully funded by the lab.
The program is under the VT-WFU School of Biomedical Engineering and Science. Graduated students will receive joint degree from Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The program is ranking in Top 50 in USNEWS BME Ranking.
