I'm from Cornell ECE 13FALL.. I got a TOEFL score of only 100(speaking is only 20),GRE 1360+3.0(So don't be too serious about your writing,but it should be useful in application if you got a AW better than 4). Most people here are from 985 and 211 university but I can hardly see any students from TOP 5 in ECE Meng program(7 students are in MS program, all come from THU PKU ZJU and University of Toronto). I know some people from Tsinghua and FDU last year in M.eng program, they really did well here(One of them got a job offer from Qualcomm yet declined, another girl applied PHD here in cornell). Not all chinese students here can find a job in 9 months, but I think this program is worthy for the expensive tuition. CS Meng is much harder to apply than ECE department, and they all find jobs before they graduate(^_^)! You can prolong your program to 1.5 year or 2 year as long as you'd like to pay 22000$ a year! So good luck and sorry for I don't have a chinese input on the computer of Library! |
