OPT和CPT合计不能超过12个月吗？颠覆认知

那个帖子里的更新（好消息）是说非法停留的memo，不是说practical training的规定，practical training的法律在https://www.ice.gov/sevis/schools/reg能找到原话。

我自己也是实习+OPT12个月，确实没有人有任何问题，但只是觉得很奇怪

全职cpt不能超过一年，否则会占用你opt的时间。只要你cpt，全职（20+ hr/week）不超过365天，对你的opt就没有影响

What is your point? 这个说的是你如果从本科升硕士或者硕士升博士，可以在获得12个月的opt。我刚才说的那些是经过学校isso确认的，而且要按你说的，那不是明摆着不让留学生实习吗。 但我同学至少50%都在mastet期间拿了一次全职实习，而且之后申请opt没有任何影响。前面楼也有人给你贴了英文全文policy，你再细看一下

你们学校说的/上面贴的/你所相信的policy是正确的 不意味着 我所说的policy是不正确的， 因为二者没有冲突，逻辑能听懂吗
我自己就是master期间经历了全职实习，现在OPT都用完了，我当然知道是怎么一回事

如果真的跟楼主说一样的话那opt申请时学校的DOS/ISS就会提出来了。这么大的变化学校怎么会不知道而且立即通知自己的学生呢。当初给OPT I20的时候就应该写12-所用的CPT月数了,照楼主这么说那估计好几万opt现在就要失效了各大学院不会不重视这个事情的
我本科时期也用了8个月的full time CPT,去年申请七月份开始的opt的时候我们学校的ISS也直接给了一年。照楼主这么说我现在已经全自动黑户了

18年就有这个问题 如果真的想楼主说的那样的话那学校的DOS还有ISS早就该跟所有opt申请人说了, 我零零总总累积了8个月的CPT要是真的这样的话我早就全自动黑户了
