Short Bio of Dr. Che
Dr. Wenjie Che received his Ph.D degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico in 2016. He was the recipient of the best hardware demo award at the IEEE International Symposium on Hardware Oriented Security and Trust (HOST) 2017. Dr. Che has (co)-authored 20+ papers in prestigious peer-reviewed conferences and journals such as ICCAD, HOST, FCCM and IEEE Transactions on VLSI. He holds three Provisionals that are licensed by Enthentica Inc. Dr. Che serves as an Organizing Committee Member and TPC member for prestigious security conferences like HOST, and as a reviewer for prestigious journals including several IEEE/ACM Transactions including TVLSI, TCAD, IEEE IoT Journal, TDSC, TECS.

The research lab directed by Assistant Professor Dr. Wenjie Che at Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Mexico State University has opening positions for Ph.D students with full financial support. The major research areas include:
(1) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security;
(2) Hardware and embedded system security and trust;
(3) Model-building using machine-learning algorithms for security problems;
(4) Authentication, privacy and cryptography protocols for IoTs;
(5) FPGA/SoC hardware and software co-design;

Backgrounds and interests in one or more of the following aspects are especially welcome to apply:
(1) FPGA/SoC (VHDL/Verilog, C) or embedded systems;
(2) Solid programming basics;
(3) Security, privacy or cryptography;
(4) Deep learning and machine learning.
(5) Interested in doing research.

老师您好，我现在是ee的master，本科读的是microelectronics，master主修的是digital部分的课程，现在正在修system on chip的课，能使用VHDL和verilog做一些简单的设计和simulate，analog方面会使用cadence，在实验室使用过arduino和smooithboard这种可编程器件设计过简单的系统。但是毕业可能要今年年底。您看我还有机会吗？
