不是用垃圾场填的，垃圾填埋是谣传。

milpitas的垃圾场就是叫landfill,  Republic Services Newby Island Landfill

事实上是，因为湾区环境组织的要求，不允许挖山上和其他地方的土来填海。

你问问湾区年纪大的硅工（超过60岁）再来评论吧，当年半岛那里的填充材料里还有南湾半导体的废料，你去搜吧

所以就允许用垃圾填海？还是工业电子垃圾。这听上去很不合理，填海工程用正常的建材就行，哪有用垃圾做？如果直接把垃圾铲过来往海里填，当年也会上头条吧，周围的城市也不会轻易同意。但是不是把垃圾进行处理后制造的建材，就不知道了。那两个城市里都有很多人居住，Foster City还是华人小孩聚居的地方，如果没有确凿的证据，我感觉这样随口说不好。

foster city也有不需要flood insurance的房子。 redwood shore我很喜欢，环境很好很新，就是里面太residential 配套设施不多

钓鱼价，不过房子背靠大路双向4lane，经常过车还是有点吵的

可能是我把价格（listing price）和学区都filter了一下 感觉这两个的性价比比南湾高很多
