同求CMU ECE, Cornell CS比较

敢问LZ已经拿了ME的MS学位了么。。。那跟我差不多，已经EE MS快毕业了，想申个CS，不知道推荐信要怎么拿？

以前UIUC的MCS是不能拿奖（TA/RA）的，因为规定就是不能，教授愿意都不行。
但是从这个学期开始，UIUC的MC ...

Hi, may I ask you about the funding information for UIUC MCS? I haven't decided where to go but have to make the decision between CMU and UIUC this week. I emailed the office and they said the CS department offers no official TA/RAship for MCS student. Could you maybe take a picture of that announcement today or tomorrow and send it to me? Thanks a lot!

I don't have any reference from CS faculty or professional.

可以看到mcs是有资格拿tuition waive的，不过肯定是很难拿。还是建议cmu。

Thanks! But why CMU? I have a little concern about the name "ECE". Some people said it could be a bad thing when looking for a software engineer job.

And, as far as job-hunting goes, I guess UIUC is no worse than CMU according to the limited information I have. Would you mind to give me some idea about the job-hunting activities at UIUC?

Got rejected for some very personal reason, but I guess Cornell is no better than UIUC. So I don't really care.
