你联系学校新给你发个i20 换个sevis number 激活后按理说就可以入境了？

我滴天心疼 patpat楼主 是旧签+新I20不行了吗 请问楼主更新过I20吗

想问下楼主i20是离开美国前就拿到的那份继续使用了吗？？

感觉楼主属于scenario 3，应该是符合active students的条件的，感觉是海关的officer不太熟悉规则。心疼楼主……

那2020年3月14日当天回国的会不会有问题嘤嘤嘤:(

这个海关貌似并没有错 ，因为LZ 2020年3月14日之前就离开美国了，不能享受到疫情期间特殊的政策了，所以离开这么久，I20已经失效了。

我理解是sevis过期了，所以应该需要一个新的sevis id并重新交钱，相应的学校应该给一个新的i20？

但是现在不是5月吗。。。。距离三月没到5个月啊。。

According to the guideline on ICE website:

The March 2020 guidance applies to nonimmigrant students who were actively enrolled at a U.S. school on March 9, 2020, and are otherwise complying with the terms of their nonimmigrant status, whether from inside the United States or abroad.

The March 2020 guidance applies to continuing F and M nonimmigrant students who were in valid F-1 or M-1 nonimmigrant status on March 9, 2020, including those previously enrolled in entirely online classes who are outside of the United States and seeking to re-enter the country this fall. Students actively enrolled at a U.S. school on March 9, 2020, who subsequently took courses online while outside of the country can re-enter the United States, even if their school is engaged solely in distance learning

It looks like the March 2020 guidance should apply to a student who was actively enrolled on March 9, 2020, even if the student was not physically in the US. But I'm not sure.

BTW I'm departing for the US on May 17th, 2021. I left the US in Jan 2020, so I'm also worried about this case ... I'm contacting ISSO of my university. Hope everything goes well.

如果是这个原因，直接拒了不就行了，检查这么仔细干嘛
