Software Development Engineer in Test
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul and Tokyo.
Our team works to ensure the quality of E2E systems including backend and frontend services and client devices(IOS, Android and Web). Our team provides technology to Bytedance Developer and QA teams to test, release and deploy their products including TIKTOK, Ads and Infrastructure teams. We are looking for engineers who have good backend, frontend and clients testing and automation experience to join our team.

As an SDET on our Test team, you will:
1. Be responsible for the entire system testing automation process, including but not limited to: analysis, designing and automating test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking;
2.Ensure the SLA of the TIKTOK and Infrastructure's offline environment, help the developer and QA teams  to use all offline services and clients to test local changes.
3. Help implement test tools and collaborate with automation/performance test teams to build up internal tools/frameworks/platforms to make the team more productive.
4.Improving the usability, reliability, stability of the whole CI/CD pipeline and user experience.
5.Influencing the engineering culture of the product teams and advocating engineering excellence

Qualifications:
1. BS/MS degree in a relevant field: Computer Engineering or EE;
2. Familiar with Java/Python/Objective-C/Golang, experience in related projects development;
3. 2+ years of experience with API testing;
4. Familiar with web architecture, understanding of Django/Flask and other frameworks is preferred;
5. Familiar with Redis, NSQ, Zero-MQ, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Hive, Spark;
6. Excellent problems solving skills, ability to coordinate with different local and global teams;
7. Strong passion for mobile internet and building next generation mobile application, can take full responsibility for end to end service.
