Cal Poly MSCS vs NYU Tandon MSCE

我不懂中文。请帮我决定。  
. I am international student. I have bachelor's in cs. NYU Tandon has good reputation and more international population. Cal Poly is less than 1% international. Location is also very different. I like California but San Luis Obispo is middle of nowhere.
Both are for Jan 2022 start. Which one would all recommend? If I had NYU Tandon MSCS I will take that but I got rejected, and offered MSCE instead which creates confusion to choose Cal Poly MSCS.

If you want to get a job，go to cal poly. Otherwise go to Tandon and pay a much higher tuition and return to your country with a NYU degree.

I never heard of Cal Poly.therefore，my suggestion is to choose tandon ce.Moreover,ce and cs have no fundamental difference.

I don’t know too much about ur major, but I actually went to high school in San Luis Obispo. So perhaps I could give you some suggestions on Cal Poly. My view is kinda similar to urs, SLO is in middle of nowhere. It is a very small town with no very good restaurants. But the weather is good ( well its cali). It is about 2 hrs to LA and Santa Barbara, so you could drive to see some urban. Cal Poly is a good public school. And I believe is is less expensive than NYU considering tuition and daily costs. I have a good friend that goes to cal poly undergrad. Her major is engineering. She enjoys it but she stifled with the name and brand. NYU’s name is def bigger than cal poly. Since ur a international student, I guess it rly depends on whether u want to stay in the US after grad or go back to ur home country. If in the US, both schools names are good. If back to ur home country, I guess NYU is the choice. But with these info u also need to compare both schools majors, since I don’t really know ur major.
