Responsibilities：
•原代和诱导多能干细胞培养，包括眼组织的显微外科解剖和动物眼睛的显微外科操作
•标准的分子生物学技术，包括克隆，病毒转导，蛋白质印迹，qPCR
•标准的细胞生物学方法，包括共聚焦和活细胞显微镜和图像分析，以及组织切片技术
•能够在尚未开展工作的领域独立建立新的protocols，并联系其他研究人员和科学家来帮助解决问题
•愿意学习新方法，特别是新一代基因表达分析、脂质组学，以及代谢组学
•根据所招聘专员的兴趣、实验能力和职业发展目标量身定制工作职责

Required Qualifications：
Research Lab Specialist Intermediate
•        Bachelor's degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position.
•        4-5 years of bench research experience
•        Ability to do standard molecular biology and cell biology methods independently at the start, including qPCR, Western blotting, and basic microscopy (we will train you on advanced microscopy techniques)
•        Willingness to learn new methods by interacting with other labs, including lipidomics, metabolic profiling (oxygraph or Seahorse analysis), and next generation sequencing analysis
•        Willingness to help train others
•        Willingness to work in the lab of a young investigator, who is highly invested in a positive lab environment and promoting career development (and has adequate funding to secure the position)
•        Ability to read literature to assist with protocol development and troubleshooting when protocols don't work

Research Lab Specialist Senior
•        Bachelor’s degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position
•        5-6 years of bench research experience
•        Supervisory and finacial management experience
•        Ability to do standard molecular biology and cell biology methods independently at the start, including qPCR, Western blotting, and basic microscopy (we will train you on advanced microscopy techniques)
•        Willingness to learn new methods by interacting with other labs, including lipidomics, metabolic profiling (oxygraph or Seahorse analysis), and next generation sequencing analysis
•        Willingness to help train others
•        Willingness to work in the lab of a young investigator, who is highly invested in a positive lab environment and promoting career development (and has adequate funding to secure the position)
•        Ability to read literature to assist with protocol development and troubleshooting when protocols don't work
Desired Qualifications：
•        Some experience with animal husbandry (but not necessary)
•        Experience with ImageJ or other image analysis software
•        Experience with R for statistical analysis and -omics data analysis
•        Stem-cell culture experience
•        PhD or a long track record of independence as a staff-level scientist
•        Long-term commitment to the lab of at least 3-5 years, ideally longer
