听起来非常赞啊。比在北京吃尾气强10000倍。

呃，奖都发完了么。。半个月前收到的ad说之后会评奖，一直都没结果==。。。

楼主你好，我申的是UNL的机械phd。于2013年11月30日左右提交的网申，2014年2月11日收到机械系的ad。ad里面没有提到奖的事情。。。隧问ME Dept小蜜之。答复如下：
letter 1 我问他们TA RA开始评了木有，评判标准是什么。答曰：
We have not yet decided on the teaching assistantships (TAs). They will be decided as soon as we have the entire pool of candidates reviewed. We try to select the best in the pool.

The research assistantships (RAs) are selected by individual faculty. There are actually more RAs than TAs. To get one, your adviser needs to have funds and decide that they want to select you for support. I suggest that you contact individual faculty in your area and see if you can find a match between your background and their current needs.

也就是说他们在等所有的申请者材料都审过之后再集体评审，因此目前还没开始评，但是马上会评的。因此建议套磁联系叫兽~~~

letter 2 是问他们当TA有没有托福最低口语分数要求。答曰：
The ecisions for TA are based on highest research potential. All decisions on funding are normally made with research in mind.
