没有收到funding邮件的就是没奖了

老早就收到了AD。后来看到有人报说是收到AD后，又收到了campus visit和funding的邮件。但是我却没收到。
问了下那边，应该是没有收到funding邮件的就是没有奖。
小米回复说，每年大约70%-80%的人会被资助。
前不久发的fungding，只是很少人。
他的回复：
Unfortunately, we do not have a funding offer for your graduate studies at UW at this time.  On average each quarter, 70-80%+ of our graduate students are funded; however, at the time of admission, we provide funding guarantees for relatively few students.  Students are funded on Research and Teaching Assistantships on a quarter-to-quarter basis.  You may feel free to contact any of our faculty about funding possibilities in their various research labs.

Students without guarantees of funding are assigned temporary advisors during summer, and then are expected to find their permanent advisor during their first year in the PhD program.  In general, if a student is admitted without a funding offer, I think it is wise to be prepared to pay at least the first full year of tuition and living expenses, as it can take some time to find an appropriate advisor, and finding an advisor is not an immediate guarantee of funding.

如果你是ee，估计就不会再有AD了。AD是2.5统一发的。
