发帖供将来的师弟、师妹们定位
收到了NCSU的CS录取，但我记得自己申请的是Master of Science in Computer Science(MSCS)，但录取的是Master of Computer Science(MRCS)，有和我一样的童鞋么？

这几天马航的事情让人挺难过的，老是想: If tomorrow never comes?

大家选择去美帝奋斗，身上都有数不清的寄托和牵挂，大家都要好好的！

小秘已经澄清啦：第一年录取的人都按MRCS来，一年后要做thesis的就按MSCS的Track来～～～

噢～～～拿到录取后给NCSU的小秘发邮件了，然后他们很快的回复了：
. Our experience has shown that the majority of computer science master's degrees awarded at NC State are for the non-thesis option, which is the master of computer science (MCS) program, designated on the admission letter by the abbreviation "MR." Accordingly, we make this the default for the initial enrollment of masters students.
However, our intent is not to discourage students who prefer to do a thesis for their master's degree. If you are one of those students, you may change to the thesis option after you've completed at least one semester at NC State. The change is simple and the request takes only a few minutes to complete. Your adviser will gladly discuss the pros and cons with you before you decide.

嗯嗯 应该和最后毕业有关吧~~ 我木有收到录取  网申还是completed 估计是默剧了
