The University has confirmed that there has been no policy change regarding Curricular Practical Training (CPT) taken during a student’s program for those studying in a US-based campus. The Graduate School of Engineering remains committed to ensuring that our students have the opportunity to both pursue a Co-op and complete their degree in full. Our team of Co-op faculty, Student Services advisors, and staff will continue to support students, ensuring that they can take full advantage of the incredible networking and academic opportunities available to our students. To learn more about CPT, please visit the OGS Website – CPT.
Program extensions are very rarely relevant to Co-op as students receive an I-20 or DS-2019 based on Northeastern University’s program objectives, which account for any college-approved experiential learning built into the length of the program of study. To learn more about the program extensions, please visit the OGS Website. |
