Structural Engineering and Infrastructure Materials Program，一年三学期一学期14700刀左右...我勒个去

人家私立啊，除了校友捐赠就靠收学费了。

而且消费也很高的~~

好学校啊~

如果是去美帝工作的话我觉得西北还是很好的~他家ms之所以不能转成phd估计和职业化教学方法有关系。。。不太学术，注重实践~个人这么觉得

thesis的，有两个选项，一个是职业的，一个是第一年提交转博然后thesis士申请

Option 1:A minimum of 9 courses must be taken for a letter grade to satisfy TGS's minimum course work requirement
for a M.S. degree. Included in the course requirements are core courses and electives where you can choose from a wide spectrum
of programs including the Advanced Structural Designand Structural and Architectural Design. For students seeking an
industry career, this option is the route of choice. In addition to the course requirements, students may wish to work on a design
project that usually spans two quarters (Winter and Spring) with a final presentation atthe end of the Spring quarter. Students
selecting Option 1 will have an opportunity to design structures with real world constraints. Students may also wish to acquire
practical experience through internship or coop. The McCormick Career Development Office has dedicated staff to work with
graduate students on coop and internship. This additional experience may extend your M.S. program beyond one academic year.
  Option 2: If you are considering pursuing a Ph.D., you may wish toconsider this option. The number of course required
is identical to Option 1. For this option, in lieu of a design project, students must submit and defend a thesis involving original
research. Because of the vagaries of research, a thesis-based M.S. degree is rarely completed in one academic year. If you wish to
obtain significant research experience and/or ifyou wish to stay at Northwestern for a PhD, this second option, which includes
the thesis, is the most appropriate option. If you wish to pursue the Ph.D. study at NU, you must submit your application during
the fall of 2014 for fall of 2015 admission. You will have an opportunity during orientation or early in the fall quarter to explore
research opportunity and identify thesis advisor
