We are seeking Software Developers with a strong technical background and basic understanding of Trading Investment Banking concepts (i.e. Market Risk, Credit Risk and valuations for FX, Equity, Interest Rate, Commodities and Credit Derivative product types). The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in a hands on development role in the financial services space. Candidates must have a strong understanding of OOP concepts and have mastered at least one of the following languages (C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript). Candidates must have experience in SQL and hands on experience with database platforms i.e. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL etc. The available development roles cover Front End UI development, Back-End server side and Quantitative model development. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in any of the aforementioned areas. Key Responsibilities Analyze BRDFRD documentation and review best possible implementation approach with peer developers Code new functionality and corresponding Unit test cases (should be able to follow BDDTDD design patterns) Analyze recent and legacy code to reduce any redundant functionality Provide reliable implementation timeline estimates and ensure these are met throughout the project delivery Collaborate with other developers and participate in code review and design sessions.
