Transfer SEVIS 期间F1 过期出国旅游问题

5月底硕士毕业，8月初换学校读博，新学校说transfer SEVIS没问题

如果这期间想出（美）旅游，查了移民局网站，有这段话

The student must re-enter the United States with a Form I-20 for the school that holds the Active or Initial record.
理解就是要么transfer之前出国回来，要么transfer好之后出国回来
Started and completed before the transfer release date with a current Form I-20 from the transfer-out school
Started and completed after the transfer release date with Form I-20 from the transfer-in school
我的问题是，现在F1 过期，还能拿着有效的sevis出入美国境吗？
