Re: CS openings at Michigan Technology University

Two CS PhD openings for motivated and creative students to conduct basic research motivated by important applications, e.g., at the intersection of machine learning, sequential/graph data, interdisciplinary and societal impact. The positions are at the CS department of Michigan Tech and are fully funded with a monthly stipend of $2,200. Masters, interns and visiting scholars are equally well welcome. Desired qualifications: i) A BS or preferably an MS in CS or related majors; ii) Solid mathematical and programming background; iii) Strong motivation in cutting-edge research for top-tier publications.

这算是广告贴吗？那所学校MTU我太熟悉了，以下评价没什么顺序，想到哪讲到哪：那里冬天很久，一年5个月的雪，下的很大，好处是可以滑雪。夏天不流汗很舒服。自然景色非常好，或者说很偏僻没啥商业街。人口少，养老城市，大家互相非常热心。几十年几乎没什么刑事案件，半夜到处跑也很安全。一句话总结：好山好水好大雪好寂寞好安全人们好热心。哈哈哈
