看看牛人是怎么做到的,总结了几点
Doing things that my skip/director wanted to be done.
Also, kickstarting projects that grew to have multiple teams working on it..google и
I strive for “quality impact” over “impact” even if it hurts my career prospects. So far, it hasn’t been hurt luckily.. .и
There are some orgs where people just chase metric impact wins without understanding the degradation to quality. Yeah, they get fast career progression but they don’t have pride in their work or the company’s future.
A:Do you have any tips on how to get acquainted to new code based / technologies? One of the difficulties I find is ramping up quickly by adapting to these code based which are often bad. What tips can you give for this?
Send out code changes to improve the code. That will force you to learn more about the code and make the code base more manageable.

Yes, but also that you can’t treat it like a 9-5 where you browse Reddit, have an hour long lunch break, etc. You really need to be obsessive about your work. Especially if you want to do E3 -> E6 the right way and not take shortcuts like some engineers.
1. How fast do you get acclamated to a new code base?
- . Slowly, which is why I’ve stayed in the same space.‘
2. How much of your time outside of work is spent doing leisurely research on things related to work? Also how has your wlb been?
-. I count that as work. I would say 10 hours. WLB is like 60 hrs/week.
3 What was the worst mistake you've made in this progression?
-. Doing the “cool” work. Cool work is not always impactful. ..
4. Say I was a tech recruiter. How would you answer the question "why should we hire you?"
- I have saved the company 50M/year, led an org of 30 engineers on multiple engineering initiatives, etc. I am happy to bring the same impact to your company.
