It's now the 8th year since my study in the US, and going abroad has been quite emotional for me.
I came from a small village and my english is not good. So I try to learn english every day and make my english go up.
For the Master of Computer Science application, if it is about the process of preparing for going abroad, since it is a DIY application, I have gained a lot in the process, including the mindset, motivation, etc. More importantly, I have a breakthrough from my original life, a completely customized plan, implementation, modification, and implementation again. More importantly, having the experience of having a breakthrough in the original life, completely customizing the plan, implementing, modifying the plan, and then implementing it again, helped me build a logic of doing things, so that I can have a track to follow when I encounter things in my life afterwards and not panic. And the mind was able to be more calm, mature and sophisticated, and target certain key points of things, rather than doing or not doing such things on. Looking back on the journey abroad, it was a confusing and torturous process, from the decision to go abroad to look at all sorts of information, to prepare for GT repeatedly struggling to finally get out of the score, to write PS, try ceramics, choose a school positioning, constantly fill out the application form, and even after the house, booking air tickets, and even pack your bags, all need to constantly cheer themselves, need to constantly self-examination, self-reassessment, and stable emotions! , breaking through the limits of vision, etc. Now that I think about it, it seems like nothing special, but every process was like a mind surgery. I grew up a little bit in the process. From this point of view, the process of preparing for going abroad was really a valuable experience.
I think the experience of studying and living abroad is more about the different culture, education system, social and political system, and public service. When I was in China, I never left the city where I was born, so I was familiar with everything, including the language, lifestyle, relationships, and so on. Living in China always feels like going with the flow, and doing basically the same things with classmates, colleagues, and social peers, and without thinking too deeply about it, you will be pushed by everyone into a similar position and environment. But when you go abroad, when the language, culture, social system, and experiences among your classmates are basically completely different, everything in life needs to be acquired on your own initiative to be possible to have. For example, the domestic mobile phone card packages feel very easy to understand, want to change packages according to their own needs to change packages on the line, it is not clear can give mobile Unicom phone. But in foreign countries, to figure out the operator's package need to spend some effort, online search, dig, find students to ask, even to the operator after the phone call all need to discuss with familiar people may be able to determine a relatively appropriate package. From this point of view, there is still a very strong feeling of living abroad.

I feel that the amount of knowledge I have mastered and the degree of solidity is much stronger than in my home country. Students try to understand the knowledge as much as possible. I went to the bachelor's and master's degree in China, and I feel that the teachers' lectures are more general, and it's hard to feel that they can really explain the knowledge thoroughly, which I think may be one of the reasons why there is a gap between higher education in China and abroad. I think this may be one of the reasons why there is a certain difference between the higher education in China and abroad. So it feels like if you are going abroad for the sake of education, you will definitely get something out of it. He said that his American classmates were not as innovative and rigid as they claimed. He said that his American classmates all followed the same pattern that they had learned in high school when they expressed their opinions and talked about their own views. So it is possible that the quality of education varies from school to school and from program to program.

The other thing is that life in the US is really inconvenient, the public transportation system, online shopping system, logistics system is really expensive and bad. Every day I look forward to going back to China to buy things, go back to use Alipay, eat good food, play everywhere what. It is said that China's development is fast but the quality of life is not good, go abroad to know, domestic life is so convenient, China's development is so fast so good. So the little friends abroad must cherish their own life in the domestic ah, abroad can not be so many convenient services can use it. Of course, the United States also has a lot of their own convenient points and services, such as stores inside a very convenient and user-friendly some buttons, buy things can be returned to the return policy and so on. But on the whole, I personally feel that China's service is more comprehensive and perfect some.
The most important point, which I never thought would change, is that I became super super super super patriotic after I left China. Before, when I was in China, I was a cynical young man, but after I went abroad, I had to dislike anyone who said China was bad. Whenever there was an opportunity to introduce China, he would talk about how good China is. After going abroad, she started to pay attention to the national politics and international situation, and there are all kinds of videos on Youtube analyzing the national policies and forms of the country. What I like to watch most is the CCTV propaganda film that I feel passionate and touched.
